Babies, who born early have immature lungs. The lungs grow and develop during childhood. They are more likely to wheeze and cough during childhood. Some children overcome these symptoms, while others have continued to have breathing problems into early adulthood.
Respiratory conditions were the most frequent reasons for hospital stays among children. Children may be affected by some of the chronic lung disease, most commonly chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which includes asthma, chronic bronchitis, TT virus and emphysema.
Asthma and its symptoms
Asthma is a chronic long-term inflammatory lung disease that inflames and narrows the airways. Asthma causes a whistling sound when you breathe, chest tightness, shortness of breath, restricting air supply and coughing. The coughing often occurs at night or early in the morning. It’s an incurable illness of the airways.The symptoms of asthma often present in periodic attacks or tightness in the chest, wheezing, breathlessness, and coughing. A patient has to clear his throat in the morning, due to excess mucus in your lungs. A chronic cough that produces mucus may be clear, white, yellow or greenish. The patient can feel shortness of breath during physical activities.
